Fake Tattoo

I'm going to explain how to add realistic fake tattoo by using an advanced way.

Step 1. Open an image. Click Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer as a backup.

Step 2.  Import the tattoo. You can use any design or logo. I prefer vector or outline image.

If you have no idea on how to extract the object from its background, watch my tutorial here.

How To Extract Simple Object From Background

Step 3. Drag or copy the extracted tattoo into the image. Resize the tattoo perfectly.

Then right click --> warp and adjust it to make it realistic.

Step 4. Ctrl+J the tattoo layer twice to duplicate it two times.

Change the first layer into soft light and opacity to 64%. Second layer to overlay and opacity 80%. Hide the original layer by unclicking the eye button.

Step 5. Click to select the overlay layer. Then Filter --> Blur --> Gaussian Blur. Adjust the radius until you can see the tattoo starts to look realistic.

And there you have it. A nice rocking tattoo.
