This is also a request from my friend. The tutorial will show you how to create a realistic flaming effect on text.
Step 1. Open a document, fill it with black.
Step 2. Select Type Tool. Hotkey 'T'. Type anything.
Step 3. Right click on the layer and choose Blending Option.
Check on Outer Glow and key in these settings.
And finally Inner Glow.
Step 4. Right click on the layer and choose Convert to Smart Object. Then Right click again and choose Rasterize Layer
Step 5. After you are done. Choose Eraser Tool with low hardness and erase the top a bit.
Step 6. Click Filter > Liquify. Select the Warp Tool and smudge the edges.
Step 7. When you are pleased with the result, get a picture of a flame or fire, insert it in the document. Change the blend mode to Screen.
Resize it and apply to the text. Fill the letter with fire. Use the same technique.
Step 8. Ctrl+ J to duplicate the layer. Change the duplicated layer to Soft Light with opacity about 30-50 %.
