Ever wanted your eyes to look like a superstar's? This tutorial will teach you how to change the eye color of someone.
Step 1. Open the picture you want. Today I'll be using a picture of Avril Lavigne. Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the layer.
Step 2. Then, select the zoom tool in the toolbox. You might want to do the job more easier by zooming it.
Step 3. Now that your work is zoomed, select the lasso tool from the toolbox.
Here's the tricky part. You have to trace around the eyes. Use a tablet if you have to ease the job. After one eye is done, press and hold Shift while tracing the other eye so both eyes are traced like this...
After that, press and hold Alt key and trace the center pupils to remove from selection. Use the same concept to trace the previous eyes.
Step 4. Now, lets change that hideous color of the eyes. Click Layer -> Adjustment -> Hue/Saturation
Check the Colorize button.
You can see the eyes are changing their colors. Now, adjust the hue, saturation and lightness according to your satisfaction.
After you are done, click Ctrl+D to deselect them. You can notice there are some leftovers at the edges of the eyes. Don't worry, just proceed.
Step 7. To remove the stains, select Eraser tool from the toolbox. Adjust the size to be small hardness to be low.
Now gently erase the edges of the eyes until they look realistic.
Step 8. Right click at the top layer and click merge to visible to complete the picture if you want to add your own touches.
And you are done! Have a nice day
